Monday Night Football Odds: Steelers Roethlisberger to start vs 49ers

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is expected to start Monday's game against the San Francisco 49ers after practicing on a limited basis against Saturday.

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, citing a source, reported that Roethlisberger showed "he's good enough to go."

The newspaper said the decision to start Roethlisberger was made before division rival Baltimore lost at San Diego on Sunday night.

The Steelers (10-3) hold a half-game lead over the Ravens (10-4) and will clinch the AFC North title if they win out.

Pittsburgh is one-half game behind New England (11-3) for the top overall seed and home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, but the Steelers hold a tiebreaker by virtue of a head-to-head victory.

Winners of four in a row, Pittsburgh has a pair of very winnable games left against St. Louis and Cleveland. Baltimore finishes against division foes Cleveland and Cincinnati.

SBG Global Sportsbook currently have the 49ers listed as 3-point favorites versus the Steelers, while the game's total is sitting at 37½.
